On 27 May 2014, the OGC CityGML SWG, the SIG 3D, and Hochschule fuer Technik Stuttgart hosted a joint workshop to gather requirements, ideas, and suggestions for developing a CityGML Energy Application Domain Extension (Energy ADE) which allows for connecting CityGML based building models to urban energy simulations. The Chair of Geoinformatics participated in the workshop and presented a proposal for such an Energy ADE.
