On 06-08 Dec 2017, the Chair of Cartography, Technical University of Munich, and the Geospatial Cognitive and Visual Analytics Research Center (GCVARC), Beijing Normal University, China held a three-day joint research seminar at TU Munich.  [weiterlesen]

On the 9th of October the 7th intake started the Cartography Master programme. This year, a whole welcoming week was organized and we think it was the first highlight of their studies for the new group of students. The Day of Geodesy on the Odeonsplatz in Munich with theodlit, IR-camera, surveing laserscanner and a virtual sandbox from the University Augsburg shows the potential of present geodesy technics. [weiterlesen]

From Friday to Saturday the chair of Cartography be part of the excursion of the Verband Deutscher Vermessungswesen (VDV). Mr. Dr. Kumke hold a specialist lecture about high mountain cartography and visited with the participants the geodetic places of terrestrial photogrammetric measurments. [weiterlesen]
