The Chair´s research work on Semantic Enrichment and User-orientated Multimodal Navigation is supported by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. The goal is to offer individually tailored routes based on different needs and modes of transport using event data from VGI. This project, in short SNmultimodal, is part of the mFUND research initiative. Within this research initiative the BMVI has been funding research and development projects for digital data-based applications for mobility 4.0. A SNmultimodal project description has now been published on the Transport Ministry´s website (in German). The initial project timeline is set from March 2017 to March 2018.
