The Ability to Move
Soft Skills Seminar M. Sc.
In the wintersemester 23/24, we are able to offer the soft skills seminar 'The Ability to Move' (formerly 'Leadership in Change') as a two-day seminar again in a face-to-face format. In the workshop with the Center for Key Competencies, you will initially approach the topic of leadership through theory inputs as well as discussion and reflection rounds. At the end of the seminar, we invite aviation industry executives to a separate session in Garching. In a confidential discussion round, the managers will answer your questions about leadership in general, as well as about their career paths and daily work routines.

The training primarily focuses on questions regarding:
- What does leadership actually mean?
- What are the tasks of a modern leader?
- Can I learn good leadership?
- Can I motivate people, and if so, how?
- What relevance does communication have for the interaction among people, and how does communication function within leadership?
- How do I deal with diversity in a team (age, gender, nationality, etc.)?
You will receive 2 ECTS credits in the area of soft skills upon participation.
