OGC Future City Pilot 1 Engineering Report now publicly available

On successful completion of OGC Future City Pilot Phase 1, the scenarios and the results of the project have been documented in an OGC Public Engineering Report (OGC document number 16-098 titled "Future City Pilot 1 Engineering Report") and is now publicly available. The Engineering Report has been developed by MSc. Kanishk Chaturvedi and Prof. Thomas H. Kolbe from the Chair of Geoinformatics with the help of inputs from other participants. The Chair of Geoinformatics had a major role in this project and successfully implemented CityGML Dynamizer ADE for integrating live sensor data and time-dependent solar potential analysis results with 3D city models. The technical and implementation details of the Dynamizer ADE have also been provided in the report.

The Future City Pilot Phase 1 (FCP1) is an OGC Interoperability Program initiative in collaboration with buildingSMART International (bSI). The pilot aimed at demonstrating and enhancing the ability of spatial data infrastructures to support quality of life, civic initiatives, and urban resilience.
