More space for research

TUM and Panasonic Industry will be neighbors in Ottobrunn in the future. The Dean of the Department of Aerospace and Geodesy (LRG) , Johannes Spatz, President of Panasonic Industry Europe, and Josef Gregurek of Real Estate Free State of Bavaria are pleased to announce the signing of a long-term lease agreement that secures modern space for the LRG in Panasonic Industry's buildings. This marks the next stage in LRG's expansion of its Ottobrunn site. The new building will provide 1,000 square meters of laboratory and office space for new professorships and for the TUM Hyperloop program. Starting in the summer, a 24-meter-long demonstrator of the Hyperloop will be built on the site to test the levitation concept as well as safety aspects of the operation of future high-speed transportation systems.
