Facts and Figures

We are convinced that only those who understand the world as a whole can move it as a whole! With this mission, the Department of Aerospace and Geodesy (LRG) started in spring 2018 as the 15th department of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). It is already one of the world's leading institutions in this field and is a pacesetter in research, teaching and innovation throughout Germany. With targeted staff investments and considerable technical growth in the coming years, we will further strengthen our position at the interfaces between the classical disciplines. We are proud to be on the high-tech campus in Ottobrunn/Taufkirchen and fuel the cooperation with industry, start-ups and top international institutions.
